Our network of counsellors, Program Coordinators and Clinical Supervisors
are located in various regions throughout Canada.
Venture Academy treatment and support services are provided in real
communities.
No transition from an isolated or artificial environment triggering
a relapse.
Our "outreach" program sends our staff to the family
home for convenience and so that families can feel comfortable in
their own home rather than an unfamiliar, clinical office setting.
One-on-one sessions with youth are held on common ground in the
community or a place youth feel comfortable such as a coffee shop
or park. Youth are picked up at home or after school and dropped
off at home after time spent with their counsellor.

Home Communities
Venture Academy offers youth and families access to our programs
while still retaining supports and relationships in their home
communities.
Providing treatment services in a "real"
environment is crucial for skill transference. The more realistic
the learning environment, the easier it is to transfer new skills
and apply them to everyday real life situations.
Optional Locations
In some circumstances youth may be entrenched in a damaging and
destructive lifestyle. A temporary change in environment offers
opportunity for a fresh start and a chance for youth to break free
from unhealthy behavioural patterns.
In these circumstances youth may access
a Venture Academy residential treatment program in an "out
of town" location. Depending on family preferences and youth
needs, the change in location may be temporary with the youth returning
to the same Venture Academy program in or near their hometown.
