Current Difficulties
Venture Academy's Therapeutic Support Homes provide highly structured
and tightly supervised residential placements, intensive counselling
and support services to male and female youth ages 14 to 18
who may be experiencing difficulties managing their lives at home,
at school,
or in the community.
Venture Academy's Therapeutic Support Homes program serves a
youth population who may have a history of:

Clients accessing the program may be demonstrating behavioural
challenges and experiencing emotional difficulties. These
barriers typically prevent the client from healthy
functioning in his or her everyday life causing disruptions in
school, family life, and social relationships.
Historical Concerns
Possible emotional difficulties, mental health issues,
and clinically diagnosed disorders, may include: low self-esteem,
depression, poor self-concept, Attention Deficit Disorder, Conduct
Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder etc.
Who Gets In
Venture Academy's individualized approaches, intervention methods
and service plans, enable us to accommodate an extensive client
base including those with significant behavioural challenges,
and emotional concerns.
