Venture Academy Awarded Three-Year Accreditation
May 31, 2013 – CARF International announced that Venture Academy, a residential assessment, treatment and education program for struggling teens in Canada, has been awarded accreditation certification for a period of three years. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to CARF accreditation standards. Venture Academy received the best possible outcome in both their Kelowna BC and Barrie Ontario locations simultaneously which included zero recommendations in many areas (a perfect score). This puts the organization well ahead of many other treatment and education service providers in the country and gives consumers and referral sources, including government, an extra level of confidence when selecting a treatment service provider. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during on-site visits that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
Excerpt from CARF accreditation letter to Venture Academy:
“Your organization should take pride in achieving this high level of accreditation. CARF recognizes this accomplishment in its listings of organizations with accreditation and we encourage you to make this accomplishment known throughout your community. Communication of the accreditation to your referral and funding sources, the media, and local and federal government officials can promote and distinguish your organization.”
Venture Academy is thrilled to be recognized as an accredited and elite treatment service provider for troubled teens in Canada. For further information please contact our Executive Director at head office at (855) 281-5813.
