Who Gets In
Venture Academy’s individualized approaches, intervention methods and service plans, enable us to accommodate an extensive client base including those with significant behavioural challenges, emotional concerns, mild mental challenges, head and brain injuries.
Venture Academy has a consulting psychologist, psychiatrist and behavioural health specialist on retainer, but clients who are in need of intensive psychiatric care are deemed not suitable or appropriate for a placement in Venture Academy’s Independent Living Program.
Parents or clients themselves may simply be concerned or apprehensive about an impending move away from home. They may wish to access a support network in order to facilitate and ensure a smooth transition. Parents may also be concerned about their son or daughter’s functioning in their current residence. Venture Academy will customize our services to meet the potential client’s individual needs and parental preferences.
