Youth stay with Venture Academy on a temporary basis when families require skilled adult supervision for their adolescent youth.
Youth and families may wish to access the service for a family “break” or temporary relief from ongoing strain or stress.
There may be a time in the lives of families when parents are needed elsewhere and interim caregivers must be found.
Venture Academy’s Relief Services do not offer our full spectrum of clinical and therapeutic services. Youth are still supported by our Counsellors; however the focus is mainly supportive supervision, positive role modelling and therapeutic recreation.
