Historical Concerns
There may be a multitude of reasons why an individual develops an addiction problem. At Venture Academy, we attempt to explore the factors contributing to the development of an addiction. Parents may or may not know why their son or daughter has become involved in substance abuse.
Sometimes, however, a piece of the puzzle may have already been identified. Contributing factors may include emotional difficulties, mental health issues, and clinically diagnosed disorders, such as low self-esteem, depression, poor self-concept, Attention Deficit Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder etc.
Venture Academy’s individualized approaches, intervention methods and service plans, enable us to accommodate an extensive client base including those with significant behavioural challenges and/or the above-mentioned diagnosis.
